SCOPE: Applicants will be asked to paint on three 4x8 plywood panels that will be combined to create a final 12x8 mural. The finished panels will be installed and mounted to the brick wall on the exterior of the adjacent building on 522 Main Street. Artists will be responsible for purchasing art materials and will be reimbursed at the end of the project. Each artist will be allowed up to $1000 in reimbursable expenses. Artists will be paid $1500 as a stipend for their time and effort. Artists will be paid upon delivery of the art. Artists will be required to paint 3 coats of marina varnish on the entire painting, including the sides. Healthy Klamath will be responsible for the installation of each painting, but artists are responsible for delivery on or before May 17, 2026, by 5:00 pm. Artists who fail to deliver the final product by the deadline will forfeit their stipends. Artist also has the option to paint the mural on site. Healthy Klamath will have the site ready by 4/17.
